Anti Piracy Statements

Statements like this from Dark0ne at the NexusMods site really annoy me.  Pirates probably account for at least 40% of your visitors.

My grievances with NexusMods

The NexusMods website has been running for over ten years now and in that time I have seen a lot of people treated unfairly.

My biggest grievance with them is the fact that all the visitors IP addresses, browser types and operating systems are disclosed for anyone to see.  The webmaster Dark0ne is adamant that this does not pose a security risk.  When challenged about this Dark0ne's response was the following.

 

NexusMods - Banning

The NexusMods has developed a notorious reputation for banning people unfairly.  Dark0ne addresses this fact in his recent video however I get the feeling that nothing is going to change.   Countless times I have witnessed individuals who have protested a certain change or challenged a moderators actions being banned or given a warning.
