From a recent comment on a popular website any mods downloaded for the XCOM Enemy Unknown game scan the file size of the main executable. If a crack is detected the keyboard input on the game is disabled preventing anyone from playing it.
With his goal to stop pirates it seems Dark0ne is resorting to more drastic methods to deter people from pirating games.
